History

Swan Lake Estates was originally developed as a recreational country club community in the mid-1950s. The acreage was divided into 50ft lots encircling a 90 acre lake. The 50ft lots were too small to build permanent residences on, so owners either sold their property or bought additional lots for added space. The community had been originally planned for weekend use but soon developed into a year round residential area.

The location of Swan Lake Estates in northern Henry County makes it an ideal suburb of Atlanta. The community offers a beach area, playground, picnic area, club house, fishing, boating, and swimming.
